Today is my one year anniversary for moving into my new house. And it was only last night that I sat down and finally figured out how to set the timers on my heater. Yes, I confess I am a major technophobe.
For all that I miss my old gas log fire, this gas heater has some endearing qualities too. As the cold sets in, I've set one timer to start at 5.30am so the house is lovely and warm when I get up, and my second timer begins at 5pm so the house is warm again when I get home. For those who are wondering, it's a Rinnai brand.
I've also got some timers for my lamps, but I need to psyche myself up to read another instruction manual!
